Illegal trys to kill Police officer

An illegal immigrant was charged with attempted first-degree murder of a police officer after he allegedly tried to ram his vehicle into the officer who was walking early Saturday on Harrison Street, Murfreesboro Police reported. Suspect Cesar Anturo Marquez Hernandez, 28, of 3407 Wellington Drive was charged with trying to kill Officer Brandon Benge, who was answering a domestic assault call, Detective John Singleton reported. Subjects: Police, illegal, alien, immigrant, attempted murder, vehicle, assault, TennesseeBenge responded to a domestic call about 3:30 a.m. on Harrison Street off Greenland Drive. He approached a man walking near a SUV and ordered him to step away from the vehicle several times. Instead, the man identified later as Hernandez got into the SUV and started the engine with Benge ordering him to stop. “The subject placed the vehicle in gear and accelerated at a high rate of speed and steered the vehicle at me,” Benge reported. “At that time, I fired my weapon twice into the driver’s side door. The subject continued to drive away.” Officer Robert McAdams, who was backing up Benge, reported he saw the SUV accelerating toward him. “The white SUV was driving toward Officer Benge,” McAdams reported. “I then saw Officer Benge fire his weapon at the vehicle two to three times. The white SUV kept driving towards Greenland Drive.” McAdams followed the driver onto Greenland Drive and Middle Tennessee Boulevard where the driver stopped in the middle of the roadway near Sloan Street. Police stopped the driver and took him into custody at gunpoint. Detective John Singleton reported he and Detective Katrina Henderson responded to the scene. Hernandez suffered a small gunshot wound to his right knee, Singleton reported. Paramedics checked him but he refused treatment. Before being charged, Hernandez was treated and released from Middle Tennessee Medical Center. During an interview, Hernandez told Singleton he didn’t have a problem with anyone and did not know the name of the woman who was supposed to be with him. After Singleton read his rights, Hernandez decided not to give a statement. Detectives found a false Social Security card in Hernandez’s wallet. “It was learned he was in the country illegally,” Singleton reported. “This information came from the suspect after the Social Security card was found. He stated he made it so he could get a job.” The federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency placed a hold on Hernandez. Hernandez was booked into Rutherford County Adult Detention Center. A hearing is set July 7 in General Sessions Court.

I have spent over 35 years in public safety as a Fire Chief/ Paramedic and Law enforcement. Public safety is being over taxed and department budgets broke by a tremendous increase in seriously dangerous incidents performed by illegal immigrants. Incident volume has increased nearly 200% nationally all due to the flood of illegal immigrants. Departments can not afford to provide the level of response and service that they have over the last 20 years. Very quickly we are going to find our fire ems and law enforcement unable to respond to any calls because there won't be any funds to man or equip department. California is already running into such problems as well as some department in the metro DC area, Northern Virgina and Maryland having to lay off firefighters, EMTs and Police officers. There are not enough volunteers to staff equipment, we need paid public safety personnel.
Their is but one answer, deportation the legal solution to an illegal problem, we need to dramatically reduce the volume of illegal immigrants in these county immediately.
